Pulse Launcher Privacy Policy

Pulse Launcher is published by Synergy Business Solutions Inc. Pulse is designed to perform its launcher features on your Android device. The app contains no advertising, analytics, or developer-operated tracking SDK.

Information handled on your device

• Installed apps: Pulse reads installed launchable applications for the home screen, app drawer, folders, icons, search, and launch actions.
• Contacts: if you explicitly enable contact search and grant permission, Pulse reads contact display names for on-device search results. This is optional.
• Notifications: if you grant notification access, Pulse counts active notifications by originating app to show icon badges. It does not read or store message bodies.
• Accessibility: the optional accessibility service performs only global actions you assign to launcher gestures, such as locking the screen or opening recents. It cannot retrieve window content and does not inspect what you type or view.
• Launcher settings and backups: layouts, preferences, icon choices, and user-created local backups remain on the device unless you export them with Android's share sheet.
• Crash logs: a limited diagnostic log may be saved locally after a crash. It is sent nowhere unless you deliberately share it.

Purchases

The optional one-time Pulse Pro purchase is processed by Google Play. The Google Play Billing library adds Internet and network-state permissions and may communicate purchase and billing-service diagnostics to Google under Google's policies. Pulse receives the purchase and entitlement status needed to unlock Pro and restore ownership. Payment-card details are handled by Google Play, not by Pulse or Synergy Business Solutions Inc.

Information sent to us

Pulse does not automatically send personal data to us. If you choose Contact support, Android opens your email app with coarse device diagnostics such as the app version, Android version, device model, locale, and whether Pulse is the default launcher. You can review or remove that text before sending. Your email provider then processes the message.

Sharing, sale, retention, and deletion

We do not sell personal data or share on-device launcher data with advertisers or data brokers. Pulse creates no developer-operated account and uploads no launcher data, so there is no remote Pulse account database to delete. You can remove local data by clearing app storage or uninstalling Pulse. Exported backups and emails remain wherever you chose to save or send them and must be deleted there.

Children

Pulse is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security and changes

Pulse disables Android cloud/device-transfer backup for its private app data. We may update this policy when the app's behavior changes; the effective date above identifies the current version.
